John Novak joins team, expanding tech capabilities

The data center and IT relocation space is booming, and JK Technology Services (JKTS) is growing right alongside it. To start 2026, JKTS has posted 111% growth year to date – a number that reflects both the surging demand for specialized tech moving services and the deliberate investments the team has been making to meet it.

To keep that momentum going, JKTS is welcoming John Novak to the team as Vice President of Sales.

A Market That Demands Specialization

JKTS is headquartered in Northern Virginia, which is home to more than 12 million square feet of commissioned data center space and an estimated 70% of the world’s internet traffic. It’s one of the most demanding and logistically complex markets in the country, and generic moving solutions simply don’t cut it here.

That’s the gap JKTS was built to fill. The firm offers specialized support across storage, final mile logistics, and craning and rigging services, with the goal of becoming a true single source for complex, end-to-end data center and IT relocation projects.

“JK Technology Services is meeting the expanding and real need in our market for specialized services in the data center and IT space,” said David Cox, President of JK Moving Services and parent company of JKTS. “Our continued investments in top talent and honing JKTS’s product expertise are positioning us at the forefront.”

Building the Right Team

Over the past year, JKTS has been intentional about bringing in leaders with deep, relevant experience. Mike Lozupone joined as Vice President of Business Development and Technology Services, bringing a background from DataBridge Sites. Adam Nelson came on as Account Executive with expertise in moving and rigging. And now, John Novak rounds out the team.

Novak brings 15 years of data center services experience spanning warehousing, final mile logistics, and craning and rigging – a combination that gives him an unusually complete picture of what these projects actually require on the ground. That breadth is exactly what JKTS needs as it scales.

“John’s knowledge and expertise in the data center market will be invaluable in supporting our growth goals,” Cox added. “We welcome him to the team.”

What’s Next

With a specialized service model, a growing team of industry veterans, and a home base at the heart of the nation’s data center hub, JKTS is well positioned to keep raising the bar for what IT and data center relocation support looks like. If your organization has complex moving or logistics needs in the data center space, we’d love to talk.
